Job summary

US Renal Care in Hawaii is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join a cross-functional team delivering dialysis care under RN supervision. You will gather patient stats, initiate and monitor treatment, and collect samples per physician orders.

Responsibilities include preparing machines, disinfecting after use, and performing safety checks while following all protocols and regulations. CPR and PCT certification timelines apply.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis, clean and disinfect, and log safety checks.
• Monitor patients during treatment and collect samples per physician orders.
• Adhere to safety measures and company policies under RN/Charge Nurse supervision.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
