US Renal Care is seeking a Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join the team at St. Joseph Acutes. The role involves direct patient care during dialysis, managing treatment steps, and coordinating with RNs and CNs to ensure high-quality care.

The candidate must have a high school diploma, healthcare exposure is a plus, and CPR certification within 90 days. PCT certification within 18 months and completion of USRC training are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• CPR certification due within 90 days of hire.
• PCT certification via a state or national program within 18 months.
• Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director within 8 weeks of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care during dialysis, including gathering stats before/after treatment, initiating, monitoring, and collecting samples as ordered.
• Prepare hemofiltration machines, clean/disinfect equipment, and perform safety checks for quality control.
• Follow safety protocols with PPE and comply with company policies, state/federal laws, and continuing education requirements.
