Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at our Webster, NY location. The PCT will assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patient vitals, and support infection control initiatives under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CMS licensure/certification, and CPR certification, with prior patient care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements required.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital or related facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines as part of the dialysis team.
• Monitor and record vital signs and treatment parameters during dialysis sessions.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment and adhere to infection control practices.
• Document treatment data accurately and communicate changes to the RN or supervisor.
