Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our dialysis team. You will assist in setup and operation of dialysis equipment, monitor patients during treatment, and maintain rigorous infection control and safety standards.

You will document treatment parameters and collaborate with RNs and other staff to ensure high-quality care. The suitable candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid PCT certification, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid PCT national certification or state-specific certification required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes during treatment.
• Record treatment data accurately and document as required.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices.
• Educate patients regarding treatment procedures when appropriate.
