Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Compton LA RAI clinic seeks a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our dialysis team. You will assist with setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patients, and support the nursing staff in delivering safe, effective treatment.

Requires a High School diploma or GED, CMS/state certification, and CPR certification. Prior patient care experience is preferred; strong attention to safety and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must meet CMS/state certification requirements within the required state.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required.
• Experience in patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor dialysis machines and ensure patient safety.
• Record treatment data accurately and communicate with RN or supervisor.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and assist with infection control.
• Assist in patient education and pre/post dialysis evaluations.
