Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Pittsburgh is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our dialysis team onsite. You will support safe and effective dialysis therapy under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assist with machine setup, and ensure a clean, safe treatment environment.

The role requires high school or equivalent education, CMS-certified licensure where applicable, and CPR certification. Prior patient care experience is preferred, with travel between facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-approved state/national certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines under RN supervision.
• Obtain pre- and post-treatment vitals and weights; monitor patient status.
• Record treatment data accurately in the chart and clinical systems.
• Monitor and respond to intradialytic problems; intervene as directed.
• Maintain infection control and clean, safe work environment.
