Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support a dialysis unit in Clifton Park, NY. You will assist with the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patient status during treatment, and ensure accurate documentation and safety protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and prior patient care experience preferred. The position is full-time, on-site, with an hourly pay range and eligible for the company’s CQI program.

Qualifications

• CMS/state certification requirements within state or CMS timeline.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Obtain pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weights.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and respond to alarms or issues as directed.
• Document treatment data accurately on Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.
• Maintain a clean and safe dialysis environment and proper equipment setup.
