Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a compassionate Dialysis Technician to provide one-on-one dialysis care to kidney patients in Suffolk, VA. You will set up dialysis machines, monitor vital signs, and educate patients throughout treatment, while collaborating with nurses, dietitians and social workers to support patients physically and emotionally.

Qualifications

• Active CCHT Certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Comfort with blood, needles and medical equipment.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina for long shifts up to 12+ hours.
• Flexibility to float between facilities as needed.
• Healthcare experience a plus (CNA/MA/Phlebotomy/BONENT).
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required by some facilities.

Requirements

• Active CCHT Certification for Dialysis required
• Accredited High School diploma, GED credential, or equivalent
• Comfort working with blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina for long shifts up to 12+ hours
• Flexibility to float between facilities as needed
• Previous healthcare experience is a plus, including CNA, MA, Phlebotomy, CHT, or BONENT certification
• Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, including a booster when eligible
