U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician in Ohio to join a cross-functional team providing care and delegated dialysis treatments under supervision of an RN or Charge Nurse.

You will help patients with safe, comfortable dialysis and record vital stats before and after treatment. You will prepare hemodialysis machines, clean and disinfect equipment, perform safety checks, and log quality control results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire; state requirements may apply.
• Patient Care Technician certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire and maintained.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care and assist with safe, high-quality dialysis treatment under RN or CN supervision.
• Prepare hemodialysis machines, monitor patients during treatment, and collect samples as ordered.
• Clean, disinfect, and perform machine safety checks with documented results.
• Follow safety measures, adhere to company policies, and participate in required meetings and education.
