Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Warrensburg, MO, is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the dialysis team. This full-time role involves early start times with four 10-hour shifts beginning at 4:30am and Sundays off, with no overnight shifts.

Training is provided and employment includes a comprehensive benefits package. You will participate in infection control, monitor patients, record vital signs, assist with the dialysis circuit, and work under RN supervision to ensure safety and

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
• DCI provides a 3-month education program and hands-on training.

Responsabilidades

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Role under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
• Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight.
• Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
• Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights.
• Maintain and track inventory.
• Perform laboratory work.
