Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Osage Beach, MO seeks a part-time Patient Care Technician to support our dialysis team. You will assist with treatment setup, monitoring, and patient education under RN supervision, with two 10-hour shifts starting at 5am and Sundays off.

No dialysis experience required; paid 12‑week training with a preceptor is provided, along with benefits and PTO to support mission‑driven care in a community clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT and/or phlebotomy skills desired.
• 3-month comprehensive education program including classroom and hands-on training.
• Dialysis experience not required; job shadow opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Role under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
• Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight.
• Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
• Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights.
• Maintain and track inventory.
• Perform laboratory work.
