Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines.
• Provide patient education and monitor wellbeing during treatment.
• Assess vascular access and perform cannulation under supervision.
• Take pre/post-treatment vital signs and weights; document results.
• Initiate dialysis per orders and adjust UF/goals as prescribed.
• Maintain infection control and environmental cleanliness.
• Record treatment data accurately and report changes to RN/supervisor.
