Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Duluth clinic seeks a dialysis technician to join the healthcare team. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and help ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment.

No prior dialysis experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. The role involves education, charting, infection control, and collaborating with nurses to support quality patient care and CQI initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• No prior dialysis experience needed; on-the-job training provided.
• CPR certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines under RN supervision.
• Monitor vital signs and document treatment data.
• Ensure safety alarms are enabled and respond to alarms.
• Maintain infection control practices and prepare lab specimens.
• Assist with patient education and charting as directed.
