Job summary

• Proficiency in dialysis machine preparation and patient monitoring.
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow infection control protocols and document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and test dialysis machines; set up treatment stations.
• Perform patient intake, including taking vital signs and completing assessments.
• Assist with cannulation of vascular access and initiate hemodialysis treatments.
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond to changing needs.
• Report any patient changes to the RN.
• Maintain infection control and safety practices.
• Complete accurate documentation and comply with procedures.
• Collaborate with RNs, nephrologists, and the care team.
