Qualifications

• Strong clinical aptitude in dialysis procedures and hemodialysis monitoring.
• Excellent patient communication and compassionate bedside manner.
• Reliable documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, nephrologists and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, test, and set up dialysis machines and treatment stations.
• Perform patient intake, including vitals and assessments.
• Prepare patients for treatment and cannulate vascular access.
• Initiate and monitor hemodialysis treatments and address patient needs promptly.
• Report patient condition changes to the RN.
• Maintain infection control, safety practices, and treatment protocols.
• Complete accurate documentation and support coordination with the care team.
