Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Dialysis Biomedical Technician - Floater to oversee maintenance and repair of dialysis and water treatment systems across assigned clinics. The role emphasizes patient and staff safety, with responsibilities spanning equipment checks, preventive maintenance, and adherence to protocol.

The position involves local travel to clinics and collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to ensure uninterrupted patient care and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license in applicable state with current status and good driving record.
• Previous dialysis, hospital, or medical experience preferred.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Ability to react and perform under stress and in emergencies.
• Ability to communicate and interface effectively with others.
• Proficient English language skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as with others to plan and organize work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of water treatment equipment, all medical equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems to ensure patient safety and staff safety.
• Perform water quality checks (free chlorine, total chlorine, water hardness).
• Disinfect dialysis machines, water distribution loop, and pretreatment equipment per protocol.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records and ensure accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with staff and vendors; provide technical summaries in meetings.
