Job summary

Role requires CPR within 90 days, possible travel, and flexibility in shifts. A high school diploma is required, with dialysis/phlebotomy/CNA experience preferred and USRC training completion within 8 weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• 3 months dialysis healthcare, phlebotomy, or CNA experience preferred.
• Certification under state or national program within 18 months as Patient Care Technician.
• USRC training program completion within 8 weeks of hire.
• USRC training course completion within 8 weeks of hire.
• Travel nationwide as needed (assignments may be 6 weeks+).
• Flexibility to work most days/times (no set shifts).
• Proficiency in English (verbal & written).
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days.
• Ability to organize time and tasks well.

Responsibilities

• GROWTH Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments.
• GROWTH Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours.
• GROWTH Perform duties as assigned to meet patient care or operational needs.
• OUTCOMES Obtain blood samples for laboratory analysis as required to complete physician orders.
• OUTCOMES Reinforce patient education under RN/Administrator supervision.
• OUTCOMES Support program target goals for patient outcomes and quality care.
• Submit essential nursing and treatment data accurately and timely.
• Stock dialysis carts and maintain supply room.
• Complete water testing and quality control logs daily.
