Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician Trainee for our San Leandro center. You will train under a Registered Nurse to perform direct patient care and learn the hemodialysis process according to center policies.

You will gain experience in vital signs, blood tests, documentation, and dialysis equipment setup and sanitation while advancing toward required CA certifications within 18 months.

Qualifications

• One year of medical experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Learn direct patient care under RN supervision and perform hemodialysis treatment per center policies.
• Take and monitor patient vital signs, document patient information, and assist with dialysis equipment preparation and cleaning.
