Job summary

Satellite Healthcare in California is seeking a Patient Care Technician Trainee to join our team and learn direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The role focuses on gaining hands-on experience in hemodialysis, monitoring vital signs, preparing and maintaining dialysis equipment, and documenting patient information in line with center policies.

Qualifications

• One year of medical experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Learn to perform hemodialysis treatment according to Satellite and center policies.
• Take and monitor patient vital signs, perform blood tests, document patient information, prepare and monitor dialysis equipment, and clean equipment.
