Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking Patient Care Technicians to support clinicians in treating patients with end-stage renal disease. The role emphasizes infection control, patient education and precise monitoring of vitals during dialysis, under RN supervision.

DCI trains new staff through a 3‑month program; the position offers benefits, paid training, Sundays off, and a mission‑driven culture in a clinical setting with a lower caregiver‑to‑patient ratio.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and collaboration with care teams.
• Willingness to complete DCI's 3‑month education program.
• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through 120‑day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Role under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
• Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight.
• Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
• Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights.
• Maintain and track inventory.
• Perform laboratory work.
