Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Outpatient RN CAP 1 to join our Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients, under supervision, with a focus on education and quality improvement.

You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and participate in staff training and orientation. CPR/BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing.
• Dialysis experience preferred (chronic/acute).
• Current state nursing licensure.
• CPR BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and coordinate dialysis care.
• Document data and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.
• Administer medications per protocol and manage emergencies.
• Lead and mentor junior staff and trainees.
