Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN CAP 1) in Montgomery, AL. The RN will oversee patient data collection during hemodialysis, adjust care plans as needed, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective dialysis delivery.

Ideal candidates have 9 months RN experience, 3 months dialysis exposure preferred, and valid CPR/BLS. A nursing degree and state licensure are required; CAP requirements must be completed to advance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.
• Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Document data and modify treatment plans for assigned patients during hemodialysis.
