Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Zeeland, MI is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). As a CAP1, you will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, under supervision.

You will perform assessments, plan and implement care, educate patients and families, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support staff training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data pre – during – post hemodialysis and adjust the treatment plan.
• Provide patient and family education on learning needs and care.
• Direct and provide safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy with the team.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per protocol and document effectiveness.
• Initiate or assist with emergency response measures.
• Assist with staff training and orientation as assigned.
