Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will provide and coordinate evidence-based care for an assigned patient group, including education, planning, and evaluation within the End Stage Kidney Disease team.

The role emphasizes teaching, leadership, and collaboration with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians to ensure safe hemodialysis delivery and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and adjust care plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families on learning needs.
• Deliver safe hemodialysis therapy with staff collaboration.
• Administer medications per algorithm and document outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in quality improvement.
