Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary team providing nutrition therapy for patients with kidney disease.

You will work under the supervision of an RDN Regional Manager and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care providers to optimize patient outcomes. The role focuses on patient nutrition, education, and care planning, reviewing labs, and participating in monthly interdisciplinary conferences.

Qualifications

• Current RD/RDN certification showing proof of registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (BDegree or advanced degree may be implied).
• Minimum of one year experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
• Current Dietitian license (LD/LDN) in applicable state unless employed in AZ, CA, CO, HI, IN, MI, NJ or VA; CT and NY require state certification.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of English and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook; proficiency in company clinical applications within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic diets based on patient nutritional needs and treatment changes, in consultation with physicians.
• Review lab results and educate on fluid, sodium, potassium, and CKD-MBD management.
• Conduct patient assessments and care planning, participate in monthly interdisciplinary care conferences.
• Collaborate with Medical Director, physicians, nurses, and other staff to maintain positive relationships with hospitals, SNFs, agencies, and the community.
• Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient outcomes and participate in QAPI activities.
