Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Dietitian to join an interdisciplinary team, providing nutrition care for patients with kidney disease. You will work under the supervision of a RDN Regional Manager and contribute to patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include developing therapeutic diets, reviewing labs, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and hospital partners. Benefits are available for full- and part-time staff, with a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with proof of registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (requires degree).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in clinical nutrition as an RD.
• Current Dietitian license in the applicable state (CA) unless exempt per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient nutrition therapy and develop/adjust therapeutic diets in collaboration with physicians.
• Review lab results and educate on nutrition interventions (fluid/sodium, potassium, CKD-MBD).
• Conduct patient assessments and care planning, participate in monthly interdisciplinary conferences.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to maintain positive relationships with hospitals, SNFs, agencies, and community.
• Support quality assurance and participate in QAPI activities.
