Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN CAP 1) in Wynnewood, PA to join the Clinical Advancement Program. The role focuses on assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of care for an assigned patient group during hemodialysis, under guidance from supervisors.

Required are nursing licensure, CPR/BLS, and 9 months RN experience with dialysis exposure preferred. This onsite position emphasizes safety, education and teamwork within the dialysis team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
• Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care during hemodialysis treatments.
• Coordinates and documents nursing assessments and plan of care for assigned patients.
• Collaborates with the health care team to ensure safe, effective dialysis delivery.
• Educates patients and families about treatment options and care plans.
