Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Reading, PA is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN CAP 1) to join the Clinical Advancement Program. The role provides and coordinates dialysis care, performing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group under supervision.

As a member of the ESKD health care team, you will contribute to education, quality improvement and protocol adherence while ensuring patient safety and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS certification current or in progress.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients.
• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care during dialysis sessions.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and transplant options.
• Direct and collaborate with nursing staff and technicians.
• Document in medical records and adjust care plans as needed.
• Assist with emergency response measures and safety protocols.
