Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an experienced Charge Nurse to oversee daily dialysis patient care and staff supervision within a busy facility.

The role requires RN licensure, at least 18 months of nursing experience including dialysis, and strong communication skills. Supervisory experience and CPR certification are preferred, with responsibilities spanning care coordination, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of general nursing experience plus 6 months of dialysis-specific experience.
• Medical/surgical nursing experience is preferred.
• Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• Good communication skills—verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and supervision to direct patient care staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling in the absence of the Facility Administrator.
• Administer medications per physician orders and document accordingly.
• Supervise patient care activities during dialysis and respond to emergencies as needed.
