Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead direct patient care staff and oversee daily operations in a dialysis setting. You will ensure continuity of care, staff safety and administer patient care plans in alignment with physician orders.

The role requires RN licensure, 12 months of nursing experience with at least 6 months in dialysis, and supervisory capability. Strong communication and CPR certification are essential for effective team coordination.

Qualifications

• 12 months of nursing experience plus 6 months of dialysis-specific clinical experience.
• Nursing or medical-surgical background preferred.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Good communication skills – verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff with feedback for performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with all procedures and policies and state/federal regulations.
• Approve or disapprove time or personnel schedule changes and document hours.
• Participate in patient care plan meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of dialysis practices and participate in in-services.
