Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Miles City, MT is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support the dialysis treatment process under RN supervision. You will participate in infection control, record vital signs and help manage patient education within a compassionate, mission-driven team.

The role offers three 12-hour shifts starting at 5am, Sundays off, and an opportunity to train with experienced staff. Compensation ranges from $18–$20 per hour plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT and/or phlebotomy skills desired.
• DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive education program, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training.
• Dialysis experience not required; job shadow opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Role under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
• Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight.
• Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
• Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights.
• Maintain and track inventory.
• Perform laboratory work.
