Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support dialysis treatment and patient education under RN supervision in a compassionate, mission-driven setting.

The role includes infection control, vital signs, setting up bloodlines, and assisting with 120-day education for new patients; offers paid training, comprehensive benefits, Sundays off, and a supportive team culture. Shifts are three 10-hour days starting at 5 am with Sundays off.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Desire to collaborate with care teams.
• Ability to problem solve.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT and/or phlebotomy skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and document changes for charge nurse.
