Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our dialysis team. You will work under an RN or Charge Nurse to deliver safe, quality dialysis and assist with patient care, machine setup, and laboratory sample collection.

The role emphasizes strict safety practices, adherence to protocols, and ongoing education to support patients with kidney disease in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Comfort mixing acids and bicarbonate per protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality dialysis treatment under RN/CN supervision.
• Prepare machines, monitor patients, and collect samples per physician orders.
• Clean, disinfect, and perform machine safety checks with logging of results.
• Adhere to safety measures, policies, and state/federal regulations; participate in meetings and continuing education.
