Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join a cross-functional team providing care and delegated dialysis-related activities under RN or CN supervision.

You will work directly with patients to deliver safe, high-quality dialysis treatment, including pre/post stats, machine setup, and routine safety checks. Responsibilities extend to maintaining machine cleanliness, adherence to safety protocols, and participation in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as CNA is a plus.
• Comfort mixing acids and bicarbonate per protocol.
• Ability to distinguish primary colors.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable dialysis treatment and collect patient stats before and after treatment.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis, clean/disinfect, perform safety checks and log results.
• Follow safety measures and regulations; participate in meetings and continuing education.
