U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join a cross-functional team delivering dialysis treatment with supervision by an RN or Charge Nurse. You will assist with patient care, monitor treatment, and support safety and quality protocols.

The role emphasizes preparing machines, logging quality checks, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. Training programs and certification requirements are noted for career progression.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire or as required by the state.
• Patient Care Technician certification must be obtained through a state certification program or national certification program within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable dialysis treatment and patient care.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis treatments and ensure proper cleaning/disinfection.
• Conduct machine safety checks and log results for quality control.
• Adhere to safety measures and company policies; participate in meetings and continuing education.
