Job summary

US Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join a cross-functional team delivering dialysis treatment. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse to provide care and delegated activities for patients with renal failure.

You will prepare machines, monitor patients, perform safety checks, and maintain logs in compliance with protocols and state/federal regulations. A focus on safety and quality is essential at all times.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
  • Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
  • Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality dialysis treatment and monitor patients during treatment.
  • Prepare machines, clean and disinfect, and log safety checks for quality control.
  • Work under RN or Charge Nurse supervision and follow company policies and regulations.
