Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. You’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork with nurses and other care staff, and attention to safety. Training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Accredited high school diploma or GED required.
• Willing to float between local clinics as needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable with blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Healthcare experience preferred: CNA/MA/CHT or phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
