Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. You will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Deliver safe, compassionate dialysis care, monitor patients, set up equipment, record vitals, and educate patients on treatment and kidney health while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be comfortable around blood and medical equipment.
• Able to stand for long shifts and float between clinics.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and care team.

Accredited High School diploma / GED
