Qualifications

• Completion of accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology or documented cross-training.
• Advanced ARRT or NMTCB CT certification within 1 year of hire.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License required for outpatient facilities.
• American Heart Association CPR required.
• Six months relevant radiology experience; three years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiology and CT exams by verifying orders and patient details.
• Perform radiology/CT examinations across age groups and maintain competency.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Adhere to department policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain safe environment and radiation safety practices.
• Document procedures and ensure timely billing.
