Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Operates imaging equipment following protocol and assists radiologists with procedures.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Assists in department operations (inventory, schedules, equipment maintenance).
