Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Operates ultrasound equipment independently according to protocol.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Performs timely quality control and remediation as needed.
• Assists in departmental operations and scheduling.
