Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality radiographic imaging across neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. Under a radiologist, you will perform procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging quality within the Radiology Department.

You will support workflow, assist with scheduling, and participate in training while upholding radiation protection standards and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program.
• ARRT registration or registry-eligible with certification within 6 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms to meet safety and hygiene standards.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and follow AIDET during interactions.
• Track patients from start to finish to ensure accurate workflow and documentation.
• Process, transfer, and archive images using PACS and reconcile daily discrepancies.
• Apply R/L markers and technologist initials on all images.
• Maintain equipment with routine QC checks and report malfunctions.
• Assist with scheduling, workflow, and training of Radiology staff and students.
• Adhere to radiation protection practices to minimize exposure.
