Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform radiographic imaging across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations under the Radiologist's direction, ensuring patient safety and adherence to imaging protocols.

You will prepare rooms, identify patients, manage PACS images, and maintain equipment while supporting departmental operations and training of staff and students.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program required.
• ARRT registration or registry-eligible with certification within 6 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms to maintain safety, infection control, and hygiene standards.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and apply AIDET in all interactions.
• Process, transfer, and archive images via PACS and reconcile daily exceptions.
• Evaluate image quality and verify demographic data on exams.
• Maintain andQC radiographic equipment; report malfunctions.
• Support scheduling and workflow; assist training of staff and students.
• Apply radiation protection practices to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
