Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA seeks a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. Under Radiologist supervision, you will perform neonatal, pediatric, and adult radiographic imaging while upholding patient safety and imaging protocols.

You will ensure accurate patient identification, manage workflow in the Radiology Department, operate PACS, apply lead markers, and contribute to quality control and staff training as part of a collaborative, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program required.
• Registered or registry-eligible with ARRT and must obtain ARRT certification within six months of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms to ensure safety, infection control, and hygiene standards.
• Ensure accurate patient identification using two identifiers and use AIDET framework.
• Track patients from start to finish to ensure workflow and documentation.
• Process, transfer, and archive images using PACS and reconcile daily exceptions.
