Job summary

MaineHealth's Waldo Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I to perform routine ultrasound procedures under supervision. The role requires ARDMS certification and a physics registry, with BLS certification either on start or within 30 days.

No prior experience is required, though six months of ultrasound experience is preferred. We offer relocation for approved offers and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Summary:

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an approved school of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience
  2. License/Certifications: Current American Registry of Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification required. Must have completed the required Physics registry. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: No experience necessary; six months of Diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
