University Hospitals is seeking a Supervisor, Radiology to oversee daily department operations and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging. The role leads technical, clerical, and support staff, develops staffing plans, and ensures compliance with policy and accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's Degree and 5+ years of post-graduation clinical experience, proficiency with RIS/PACS, and required licensure. BLS and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of modality, computers, patient transport equipment, O2 tanks, immobilization devices, radiology information system.
  • Must demonstrate effective organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • BLS certification and licensure in applicable modality (RT(MR), RDMS(CT)).
  • Experience with RIS/PACS and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic procedures producing high-quality studies and ensures processing meets standards.
  • Prepares required documentation and assists with inspections and regulatory readiness.
  • Maintains imaging equipment and reports malfunctions to supervisor or vendor.
  • Supervises daily activities of technical, clerical, and support staff; creates staffing schedules.
  • Participates in billing reconciliation, budgeting, and departmental committees.
