Job summary

PeaceHealth in Longview, Washington seeks a Dietitian I for a part-time, 0.6 FTE role in the Quality & Coordination department. The position involves diabetes management education and coordination with the healthcare team. The schedule includes three 8-hour shifts per week with potential partial remote work.

Requires a Master's in nutrition/dietetics and an RD license (or eligible). Washington RD certification is expected with possible Medicare provider status.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human nutrition, dietetics, foods and nutrition.
• RD license before 2024 grandfathered if applicable.
• Successful completion of AND-approved internship/training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of nutrition care and set patient goals.
• Provide nutrition education to patients and families in outpatient/inpatient settings.
• Consult with other healthcare providers and participate in the interdisciplinary team.
• Document in EMR per policies and regulations.
• Refer to other services or community resources when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
