Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Clinical Business Manager to lead regional field clinical activities and drive clinical programs that improve patient outcomes. You will partner with senior leaders to set strategic directions, manage trainers, and oversee KPI-driven initiatives in a large North Central field region.

The role requires healthcare industry experience, leadership skills, and a track record of driving clinical transformations in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience in medical device/pharma/healthcare.
• Or an advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Current clinical licensure is ideal (RN/RD/NP/PA/PharmD/CDCES).

Responsibilities

• Partner with the VP of Sales & Clinical and Regional Sales Director to provide strategic leadership as the clinical business owner for national and regional organizations.
• Lead and execute clinical programs to optimize resources, drive results, and improve patient outcomes.
• Use KPIs to identify opportunities and set clinical objectives for each fiscal period.
• Develop strategies targeting AOP, patient retention, training quality, SLAs, NPS, and trainer program management.
• Oversee trainer strategy, quality, compliance, and budget efficiency at national and regional levels.
• Drive clinical transformation to enhance patient experience and reduce HCP burden.
• Collaborate with commercial teams and manage external trainers to support therapy advocacy.
• Act as a key driver of clinical change initiatives nationally and regionally.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insulin products and emerging technologies as SME.
• Liaise between field, clinical, commercial teams and enabling functions.
• Foster relationships with sales leaders for effective information flow on product needs.
