Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Electronic health record (EHR) experience a plus.
• Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients for appointments and collect co-pays.
• Answer telephones, take messages, schedule appointments.
• Verify and update patient insurance information.
• Utilize EPIC to update required patient data.
• Explain delays and manage patient flow for timely appointments.
• Maintain reception area and office inventory.
• Follow cash control policies and collect payments.
