Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Diabetes Sales Associate in Birmingham, AL to grow sales with healthcare professionals in the territory. This field-sales role focuses on FreeStyle Libre adoption, engaging clinicians, and expanding market presence while driving sales and profitability objectives.

You will build relationships across physicians, nurses, and pharmacists, stay current on product trends, and implement territory plans to meet and exceed quotas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1-3 years previous sales experience with a successful sales track record.
• Excellent communication skills, high energy, integrity and ambition to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales quotas for FreeStyle Libre portfolio.
• Prospect for new business and close for new sales in expanded marketplace.
• Collaborate with healthcare channels within HCP, Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care.
• Establish relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other care professionals.
• Develop business plans with short and long-term actions.
• Track progress against plan and adjust efforts as needed.
• Document daily, weekly and monthly activities in the reporting system.
